I have always been a fitness freak but sometimes I need to crave my sweet tooth and improve my culinary skills. This is one of the most easiest chocolate cakes I have baked that will surely get you "choco-orgasms" *wink wink*
Equipments
A mixing bowl
Oven
Beater(optional)
Ingredients
1.5 cups Maida (Flour)
3 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup castor sugar/powdered sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- Mix all the dry ingredients first and then follow with melted butter, milk, eggs and vanilla essence. Vanilla essence is usually added to counteract the smell of eggs and for flavoring.
- Beat all the ingredients well till it is fluffy by hand or beater.
- Grease the tin so that the cake does not stick to the sides.
- Transfer the contents into the tin and bake it at 180 degrees C for around 60 minutes or more until wooden or knitting needle comes out clean.
To get the mocha flavor you can use 1/2 cup of coffee instead of milk. This is so yummy.
For the icing get a cream or I would say if you don’t wanna get into hassles just use “nuttela” or “melted chocolate” between two layers of the cake. To make a tall cake bake two cakes of the same size.
With “nutella" icing you will definitely be in heaven with finger licking heavenly chocolate.
Happy baking!
